Privacy policy
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This website is deliberately kept lean: it uses no cookies, no tracking, no analytics tools and loads no content from third parties. Below we explain which data is processed when you visit this website and when you contact us. This English version is provided for convenience; the German version is legally binding.

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with STRATO. For further information, please see STRATO’s privacy policy: www.strato.de/datenschutz.
Each time you access the website, your browser automatically transmits technical information that is stored in server log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file requested
- amount of data transferred and status code
- website from which the request originates (referrer)
- browser and operating system used
This data is required to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security, for example to fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. The data is not combined with other data sources. The full IP address is stored for no more than seven days in order to detect and fend off attacks, unless it is needed for longer to investigate a specific security incident. For access statistics, the IP address is used only in anonymised form, so that no conclusions can be drawn about individual visitors.
3. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, organisation, contact details and the content of your enquiry) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in responding to your enquiry.
We delete your data as soon as it is no longer needed for the purpose of the enquiry. Statutory retention obligations, in particular under German commercial and tax law (up to ten years), remain unaffected. All enquiries are treated in confidence and are not passed on to third parties.
4. No cookies, no tracking
This website does not set cookies, does not store any information on your device and does not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services. Consent is therefore not required.
5. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are stored locally on our server. No connection to servers operated by Google or other third parties is established when you visit the website.
6. Link to LinkedIn
This website contains a simple link to a profile on LinkedIn. It is not an embedded plugin; no data is transferred to LinkedIn when you visit our website. Only when you click the link are you taken to the LinkedIn website (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland), where LinkedIn’s privacy policy applies.
7. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
